Looking to delete apps from your iOS device? There are a couple of ways around it, one of which involves long-pressing on the app icon until it starts to wiggle, click the X button, and you’re done. However, Apple is going to make it easier for users to delete their apps in the upcoming iOS 13 update.

According to those who managed to get their hands on the beta of iOS 13, it seems that Apple is now including the ability for users to delete apps through the update list. For those unfamiliar, the update list is part of the App Store where you will find a list of installed apps on your phone that are waiting to be updated.

However, the change in iOS 13 means that not only can these apps be updated, but swiping to the left on an app will also bring up the option to delete it as well. It will pull up the option to delete, after which users will then have to confirm the deletion of said app. While not necessarily the most groundbreaking feature, the fact that there is now an extra option for users to delete apps should help the app’s overall user-friendliness.

iOS 13 is expected to be released later on in the year possibly alongside the new iPhones, but whether or not this feature will change from now until then remains to be seen.
