Braun is a company that many would be familiar with for its grooming and shaving products, but did you know that before that, the company was actually in the audio business? It has been nearly three decades since Braun pulled out of the audio business, but now it seems that the company is looking to get back into the game.

The company has announced their plans to launch a series of speakers that have been inspired by the LE speakers that the company had released back in 1959 and was originally designed by legendary designer Dieter Rams. Dubbed the LE Range, Braun says, “The LE Range combines Braun’s audio heritage and craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technology and connectivity. The speakers are bold without being intrusive and embody the perfect balance of powerful performance and minimalist form, elegantly showcasing the attention and care for which German design is known.”

Not much is known about the speakers at the moment as the company has elected not to offer up any details, but they are expected to offer “cutting-edge Hi-Fi audio”. What this means remains to be seen, so we’ll just have to wait and see. In any case, hopefully, Braun will have more details to offer soon, so check back with us later for more updates.
