If you’re a fan of The Witcher series of video games and/or books, then you might have heard that Netflix is currently developing a TV series based on the franchise. It was previously revealed that Henry Cavill had been cast as Geralt and we caught a glimpse at what the character could look like.

However, it wasn’t exactly the clearest of photos but for those who are interested in seeing how the show could look like, new photos from the series have since emerged. These photos show off Cavill as Geralt, as well as Anya Chalotra who will be playing as Yennefer, and Freya Allan who will be playing as Ciri.

We have to say that at least based on the photos alone, the series does look pretty close to what players might be familiar with in the game. However, some have pointed out that Geralt is only carrying one sword, where in the game he usually carries two. At the same time, we should point out that the series is said to be based on the book, which was what the game was based on.

This means that there will be some differences in terms of story, but we’ll just have to wait and see. The series is expected to be released later this year in the fall, but no specific dates have been mentioned yet.
