If you use Instagram quite a bit, then you might be interested to learn that the company is testing out a bunch of new features for some of its existing features, such as Boomerang and also Layout for Stories, just to name a few, at least that’s according to researcher Jane Manchun Wong.

According to Wong, some of the changes made to Boomerang include a new Hold feature that pauses at the end of each loop, Dynamic which wiggles at the end of each loop, Slowmo which is a slower version of the regular Boomerang, Duo, and Duo 2, both of which will make Boomerang clips slower and faster than the regular versions.

In addition to changes made to Boomerang, Wong also found that they are making changes to Layout for Stories. For those unfamiliar, Layout is a standalone app released by Instagram that allows users to put together a collage of photos. According to Wong, Instagram is testing it out where it will be compatible with Stories, so that’s something to look forward to.

There is no word on when these changes are expected to be released, but if you’re an avid Instagrammer, it could be worth keeping an eye out for.
