There have been many indie games released over the past few years, but Cuphead has managed to capture the attention of many due to its old school graphics and gameplay, making it reminiscent of the side-scrollers that a lot of us grew up with, as well as cartoons from the 1980s with its graphics and music.

The game was initially released as an exclusive to Microsoft’s Xbox platform and Windows, but it later found its way to more devices and platforms, such as macOS, and the Nintendo Switch. It also found an unlikely home in Tesla vehicles where the game was playable through the car’s infotainment display.

The game has received many favorable reviews since, and in fact, according to a post on Facebook by Cuphead’s developer, the game has managed to go five-times platinum, meaning that at least 5 million copies of the game have been sold to date. To celebrate this amazing milestone, Studio MDHR have announced that for a full week, Cuphead will be discounted by 20% across the platforms it is available on.

This means that if you’ve always been meaning to give the game a try, now is a good time to check it out as it will save you a couple of dollars.
