One of the selling points of the GoPro is that it is small. This means that taking it with you on the go is pretty easy as it is small enough to fit in your pocket or bag. However, the small form factor also means that you would need to compromise on certain things, but that could change with the GoPro Hero 8.

Thanks to leaked images obtained by WinFuture.de, it appears that the upcoming GoPro Hero 8 will come with an accessory known as the “media module”. As you can see in the image above, this media module accessory will allow users to attach a variety of accessories to it, such as an external light that will help illuminate your subjects.

In addition to the media module, it seems that GoPro has plans for more accessories, such as a “Floaty” accessory where it will help prevent the camera from sinking in the water while adding extra padding to it. This is not the first time we’ve heard about the Hero 8. Back in August, leaked specs suggested that it could support 4K video record at 120 FPS.

There is no word on when the camera will be launched, but last we heard, it was targeted for a launch in September so perhaps we’ll learn more in the coming weeks.
