Built as a “Productivity” laptop, the Yoga C740 also comes in 14” and 15” versions. As you can imagine, the 15.6” version has a little bit more battery life, but with only an estimated 1.3 hours more, it may not make that big of a difference to buyers who will likely choose based on size.

For the best multimedia experience, the 15.6” gets the best display option with an FHD 500-NIT HDR display. Other displays are certified for 300-NIT 72% NTSC, but all are certified for Dolby Vision with the speakers getting the Dolby Atmos certification.

In 2019 the 4mm left+right bezels seem to be the new norm in this line of products and that surely affects the design and the overall attractiveness when compared to other options on the market.

The Yoga C740 has security features such as the camera physical shutter called TrueBlock and a fingerprint reader, so don’t hesitate to use a very long (and secure) password.

Interestingly, Lenovo also has a Lenovo Yoga C640 that is a more affordable and smaller 13.3” laptop as it can be configured with an Intel Core i3 (Gen10). Size aside, it is generally comparable to the C740, but has more limited storage options (512GB max). That said, it is a laptop that can be configured with a 4G LTE modem, which makes sense since it is the ultra-mobility 13.3” Yoga computer at this price range.
