Piloting a drone can be a bit tricky. This is because unlike driving a car, drones are in the sky and since we’re not up there with them, we have to rely on looking down on our screens to navigate them. However, if you’d like a better and more immersive way to fly your drones, you’re in luck.

This is because the folks at Parrot have recently announced their latest drone, the Anafi FPV. This is a drone that will be sold in a packaged bundle where it will come with a headset that allows the drone user to put themselves in the drone’s perspective. This means that what the drone’s camera sees, you will see as well.

Perhaps to help reduce the costs involved with such a complex setup, Parrot has opted not to include a display in the goggles themselves. Instead, users will use their smartphones that will act as the display, and all they’d need to do is slot them in and they’re done. This is similar to VR headsets like the Google Cardboard where it makes the overall device more affordable.

In terms of price, the Parrot Anafi FPV will be sold for $799 that will include both the drone and goggles. It will also include the controller, extra propellers, a battery, and a 16GB microSD card, all of which will be available for purchase later this month.
