When Apple introduced iOS 13, one of the new features that they brought to the table is a system wide dark mode. This has been a feature that iOS users have been asking for for a while now, and Apple has finally made it happen. Of course, not all third-party apps support the feature just yet, but if you’re a Chrome user, then you might be in luck.

Google has recently issued an update for their browser on iOS devices where it seems that it will now support dark mode as long as your device is running on iOS 13. There is no action required on the user’s end where as long as dark mode on iOS has been enabled, Chrome will automatically switch to dark mode.

In addition to the support for dark mode, the update will also change how bookmarks, history, recent tabs, and reading list are displayed, where they will now show up as cards. Users will also be able to add a new credit card directly in Chrome from the Settings page. This is a pretty nifty update and could be more than just about aesthetics.

According to a recent test conducted by PhoneBuff, they have found that dark mode could actually help save battery life. If you have just updated to iOS 13 and don’t know how to turn on dark mode, you can also check out our guide here.
