For a while, there have been rumors that Apple could be looking to explore a new laptop size in the form of a 16-inch MacBook Pro. More recently, it seems that those rumors could be true as images found in the macOS Catalina beta have revealed a potentially new laptop in the works, and now a report from DigiTimes claims that we might be able to expect the laptop by the end of the month.

While DigiTimes might not always have the best track record for Apple rumors, they are not alone in reporting this, and all these corroborations seem to suggest that it could be true. After all, when there’s smoke, there is a good chance that there could also be fire. The 16-inch MacBook Pro could be an interesting addition to Apple’s lineup.

This is because ever since the company killed its 17-inch laptops all those years ago, the 15-inch was the largest you could get. However, in terms of physical size, it is expected that the 16-inch MacBook Pro could actually be similar in size as the 15-inch model. This is thanks to the shrunken bezels that would help keep the overall dimensions similar-ish.

Other rumored features include a revamped keyboard, a 3072×1920 display, and also a new 96W charger that could make it Apple’s fastest-charging laptop to date. However, it is rumored to be aimed at pros and it could come with a hefty price tag of $2,900.
