If the rumors are true, Apple could be announcing its new 16-inch MacBook Pro today. We have been hearing a lot of rumors about the laptop, although for the most part, a lot of the focus has been on its keyboard and also its display. Now in a tweet by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, additional alleged details of the laptop has been leaked.

According to Gurman, some of the changes that Apple will be making to the laptop, at least as far as its hardware features are concerned, would be in the speakers and microphone. Gurman claims that the laptop’s speakers will be “impressive” while the microphones will offer noise-cancelling features, which should help with video conferencing and recording.

Apple’s MacBook speakers have always been pretty good as far as laptop speakers are concerned, so to call the 16-inch MacBook Pro’s speakers “impressive” has definitely piqued our curiosity. The laptop is also expected to come with a higher-resolution to better fit its 16-inch display, and will also most likely be sporting a new keyboard with a new switch mechanism that will see Apple transition away from the troublesome butterfly switch design.

Previously leaked photos have also shown that Apple could introduce a slightly-redesigned Touch Bar where it could come with a physical Esc key. Needless to say that this should be taken with a grain of salt, but hopefully we’ll have the official details for you later.
