With the launch of the 16-inch MacBook Pro, a somewhat unconventional size for laptops, this has led to the possibility of Apple maybe exploring other display sizes for its laptop lineup. This was a question that YouTuber Jonathan Morrison posed to Apple exec Phil Schiller during an interview, where he asked about the possibility of a 14-inch MacBook Pro.

If you were hoping that Apple could be mulling the launch of a 14-inch MacBook Pro to replace the 13-inch model, you would be out of luck. Schiller essentially shut that idea down in his response, where Morrison asked if the launch of the 16-inch model could indicate that a 14-inch model could also be in the works.

The Apple exec was quoted as saying, “No, I wouldn’t draw any extrapolation from this to anything else.” For those who were hoping to see a 14-inch laptop from Apple, it looks like you will be disappointed, but at the same time, it is understandable that Apple would still want to maintain its smaller laptops for customers who value portability.

Schiller also acknowledges that for a while, it might seem that Apple wasn’t listening to its customers or were ignoring professionals who had long used Apple products, but insists that the company is always listening to feedback.
