If you’re shopping for a new gaming mouse, you might be pleased to learn that Razer has announced a couple of brand new options, especially if you’re looking for a wireless model. These new gaming mice comes in the form of the Razer Basilisk Ultimate and the Basilisk X HyperSpeed.

Starting with the Basilisk Ultimate, this is a gaming mouse that comes with a 20,000 DPI optical sensor and offers speeds of up to 650-inches per second. It comes with Razer’s HyperSpeed wireless technology and also boasts eleven independently programmable buttons, making it an ideal mouse for MMORPGs. The Basilisk Ultimate will also be using Razer’s Optical Mouse Switches which are rated for 70 million clicks, so it should last you quite a while.

As for the Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed, is is a dual-mode mouse where users can switch between using Razer’s HyperSpeed wireless connectivity or Bluetooth if they prefer. By using Bluetooth, Razer claims that users will be able to extend the battery life of the mouse by up to 450 hours.

It will feature a 16,000 DPI sensor and speeds of up to 450-inches per second. Unlike the Razer Basilisk Ultimate, the HyperSpeed model will actually be using a different mouse switch that is rated for 50 million clicks. It will also feature six buttons instead of eleven.

In terms of pricing and availability, the Razer Basilisk Ultimate will retail for $150 while the Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed will be available for $60.
