With the last movie in the current Star Wars trilogy launching later this month, it’s not surprising that many companies are hopping on board the marketing bandwagon where there are a multitude of Star Wars related merchandise being launched. In fact, if you’re an avid collector of Star Wars merch, you might want to check out Bose’s latest offering.

The company has recently taken the wraps off the Star Wars edition of its QuietComfort 35 II headphones. These are still the QuietComfort 35 II headphones that many have come to know and love, except that it is now available in a limited edition colorway where one side will be black, and the other side will be red.

According to the company, “Inspired by the colors and design of the dark side, one half of these special headphones is dipped in black and emblazoned with a bright red “Sith” insignia. The other side is painted red with black patterns and detail that followers of the Empire and the First Order will immediately recognize.”

In addition to launching a special edition pair of headphones, Bose has also announced that they will be offering users an augmented reality audio experience through the Star Wars app. The company writes, “Once a scene is selected, users are placed in the middle of the action. Bose collaborated with sound designers and software developers to deliver 360-degree audio for each scene. This, combined with sensors embedded in Bose AR-enabled products that detect a user’s body orientation and movement, delivers an up-close experience as if they were right there with the characters.”

This will be compatible with devices like the new Bose 700 headphones, QuietComfort 35 II, and the Bose Frames.
