google assistant note

While Google Assistant is a feature-rich digital assistant, it lacked the integration for note-taking apps.

Surprisingly, it did not support Google Keep or any other third-party note apps. However, in a recent blog post, Google mentioned the support for note-taking apps.

Of course, you could have opted to use the in-built note-taking feature of Google Assistant. However, with the integration of Google Keep and other note apps, it makes it convenient to sync your notes and accessible.

The new feature is rolling out today and you should be able to access it using the same voice commands that you usually utilize for taking notes.

To get started with it, you have to head on to the Assistant settings and then connect your favorite note-taking app from the list of available choices.

You will find all the available note apps with the new “Notes and Lists” menu under the “Services” tab.

Some of the apps that you can work with are – Google Keep, Any.do, AnyList, and Bring!. Maybe we could see support for more third-party providers. But, as of now, it is limited to certain apps.

Also, it is worth noting that you will not be able to move your older notes that you made with Google Assistant to the note taking apps.

What do you think about the support for note-taking apps? Do you have your favorite note-taking app listed? Let us know what you think about this new feature in the comment below.
