Watch The iPhone 11 Pro Go Up Against A $250,000 Camera

The tech on our smartphone cameras have evolved and improved over the years, to the point where some have argued that there might no longer be a need for compact cameras. In fact, to a certain extent, cameras on our smartphones are good enough where at a glance, it could be on par with DSLRs and more professional rigs.

In the past, we’ve seen Apple’s new iPhone 11 Pro go up against a $7,500 DSLR camera. We later saw it go up against a $20,000 Leica camera, and in a new video uploaded by Zebra Zone, it looks like the iPhone 11 Pro will be facing a $250,000 TV camera setup, which is possibly the most unfair comparison ever.

It is clear which camera is the winner in this regard, but that’s not necessarily the point that Zebra Zone wanted to make. In the video, Zebra Zone argued that for the most part, using your iPhone to capture photos and videos is fine, but when a client hires you to shoot a video for an event, like a wedding, they’re paying for your reliability, quality, and consistency.

This means that while our smartphones can no doubt challenge photos and videos taken on more expensive rigs, it does not mean that they will be replacing them anytime soon. It is an interesting watch so if you have some time to spare, it could be worth taking a look at.
