Prior to the AirPods Pro being announced, there were rumors that Apple’s AirPods could come with active noise cancelling features, which eventually proved to be true. Now it looks like Samsung could be looking to do the same with its Galaxy Buds, and now thanks to leaked images, we have an idea of what the upcoming Galaxy Buds+ could look like.

This is based on images discovered by the good folks over at XDA Developers in the latest APK of Samsung’s SmartThings app, meaning that as far as leaked images are concerned, these are actually pretty legit. However, if you were hoping for a new design, you might be disappointed as the leaked images suggests that Samsung might not be making any changes to its design.

This means that users who might have found that the Galaxy Buds aren’t quite a good fit as they would like will probably feel the same about the Galaxy Buds+, but if you actually like the current design, then we suppose this is a good thing. Apart from the leaked images, not much else is known about the earbuds apart from the speculation that they might feature active noise cancellation.

We imagine that the Galaxy Buds+ will be announced at CES 2020, or the most likely scenario will be at Samsung’s own event in the early part of the year where they will be announcing the Galaxy S11.
