Sony regularly announces a couple of important news and releases in its ‘State of Play’ broadcast.

In its recent live broadcast, which is essentially the last State of Play of 2019, Sony announced a lot of exciting things.

Of course, a lot of games were announced that are coming to the PlayStation platform in the year 2020.

We shall mention the announcements here in brief.

The key highlight of the announcements included the official confirmation of Resident Evil 3 remake. The trailer is live as well and you can see it in action here:

In addition to the announcement of Resident Evil 3 remake – which is going to available on April 3, 2020, they also mentioned the release of  ‘Project Resistance’ as well (which is kind of a survival mode to Resident Evil with its own campaign mode).

Also, there’s a Kingdom Hearts III DLC expansion arriving with more characters and battles on January 23, 2020.

You will also find Dreams (where you get to create your video game in a way) coming to PS4 on February 14, 2020.

An interesting battle-royale game Spellbreak is also going to start its closed beta phase next year.

Other announcements included a new Predator game on April 24, 2020, Untitled Goose Game releasing this December 17th and a short footage for the action game ‘Babylon’s Fall‘ by Square Enix also showed up along with a physics-based puzzle game Superliminal.

Interestingly, a VR sandbox game Paper Beast was also featured along with all the mentioned games.
