In this day and age, no longer is it necessary to wear chest straps in order to measure your heart rate. Our heart rates can be measured by using devices like fitness trackers and smartwatches, or to a certain extent, even our headphones are capable of tracking our heart rate.

If you’re looking for something similar, TCL has just announced its latest pair of headphones in the form of the TCL ACTV200BT. These are a pair of wireless Bluetooth headphones that comes with a built-in heart rate monitor. This means that as you wear them out for your jog/run or workout, it will also be capable of measuring your heart rate at the same time.

According to TCL, the feature is known as ActivHearts and will work with a variety of different sporting apps, so you shouldn’t have a problem using it with your workout app of choice. As for the actual headphones themselves, it will feature 8.6mm drivers and a battery life of 14 hours (or 6 hours with the heart rate monitoring feature enabled).

They are also IPX4 rated which means that it should be both water and sweat resistant, so you should have no issues using it at the gym or when you’re out for a run.
