When Google announced the Pixel 4a, they also announced that they would be launching both the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 later on, but they did not state when this would happen. However, it seems that we now have a date to look forward to as Google has since confirmed that they would be hosting an event on the 30th of September.

The event will most likely see Google officially reveal the smartphones that they had previously promised, although it is also expected that Google will probably have more devices up their sleeves. This includes new Chromecast devices along with new Nest smart home gadgets, so it could be an event to look forward to.

According to Google, the event will be known as “Launch Night In” and will be streamable to the public on the 30th of September at 11am PT, presumably through YouTube. These days many companies are hosting virtual events due to the coronavirus pandemic that has pretty much ground most live in-person events to a halt.

If you’re interested in the new Google Pixel phones along with other Google related products and possibly new services, then remember to check back with us at the end of the month for all the official details.
