These days there is an increased demand for audio recording devices like microphones. As many of us are working and studying from home, some of us are starting to realize the need to upgrade our equipment, where the built-in microphone in our laptops will no longer make do due to its more-often-than-not subpar quality.

If you’re in the market for a new microphone that’s quick and easy to setup and also portable, then you might want to check out the Tula microphone that was launched on Indiegogo. This is a microphone that’s been designed for content creators like podcasters in mind, but it should also work for regular video conferences like Zoom meetings and Skype calls.

The best part about the Tula microphone is that it was also designed to be extremely portable thanks to its foldable design that lets you quickly slot it into a bag. The fact that it also relies on a USB connection means that you won’t have to deal with things like audio interfaces or finding an adapter.

The Tula microphone also comes with noise-canceling software that should help eliminate (or reduce) unwanted background noises like a whirring fan, air-conditioners, and traffic. The built-in battery also allows you to use the microphone as a mobile recorder for you to record voice memos or bring it with you to interviews.

The microphone is priced at $159 for early birds and is expected to begin shipping out to customers in December.
