When Apple confirmed their brand new iPhone 12 series, they also revealed that the phones will not be shipping with the EarPods or power adapter. Instead, it will come with a USB-C to Lightning cable. Apple claims that this was done to help improve the environment, although we imagine that some people might not be too thrilled at the idea of having to spend more money.

The good news is that for those who need a power adapter and want the EarPods, MacRumors has actually spotted that Apple has reduced the prices of those two accessories. Instead of being priced at $29, both the EarPods and 20W power adapter are now being sold at $19 each, shaving $10 off in the process.

Note that this is only for the 20W adapter and that if you wanted an adapter that could put out more power and potentially juice your iPhone up faster, those are still priced normally. At $19 it isn’t actually a bad deal. However, if you already have a USB-C power adapter at home, you don’t really need a new one.

Alternatively, if you still have a working USB-A to Lightning cable and a USB-C power adapter, you can also continue using that without any issues. Apple has also unveiled a new magnetic wireless charger for the iPhone 12 called MagSafe, so you might be better off spending your money there.
