SanDisk is a company known for their memory products, like flash drives, memory cards, and so on. However, the company has since unveiled the Ixpand Wireless Charger Sync which as the name implies, is a wireless charger, but it also seems that the device comes with a built-in hard drive.

According to SanDisk, “Helping to resolve the issue of manual backup, the Ixpand Wireless Charger Sync simplifies the process, so you do not have to think about it. Providing local storage in capacities up to 256GB, the Ixpand Wireless Charger Sync allows for fast wireless charging, while automatically backing up photos and videos and freeing up valuable space on your device.”

This means that all you need to do is place your smartphone on top of the device and it will not only charge, but it will backup your files as well, saving you time in the process. Unfortunately, 256GB of storage isn’t a lot of space, especially if you take a lot of photos at maximum megapixels, or if you shoot video in 4K, but it is a novel feature that could be of interest to some.

The SanDisk Ixpand Wireless Charger Sync is priced starting at $100 for 64GB, $130 for 128GB, and $200 for 256GB.
