Every year, there is a mad rush to purchase tickets to attend Blizzard’s annual conference, BlizzCon. However, for those living overseas or who couldn’t purchase tickets, there was always the option of attending the conference virtually, although you’d still need to pay for an online ticket.

However, with BlizzCon 2020 essentially being cancelled in-person due to the coronavirus pandemic, Blizzard has opted to make the switch to a virtual conference, and the best part of this is that Blizzard will be making the entire conference free to watch for everyone. This means that you won’t need to purchase virtual tickets if you’d like to learn everything that Blizzard has planned for their future.

This was confirmed by Blizzard president J. Allen Brack who said, “While we won’t have a physical show this year, we’re very much looking forward to BlizzConline early next. We want it to be a big virtual celebration, so BlizzConline will be free to watch and engage in.”

That being said, Blizzard’s BlizzCononline will not be held this year. Instead, the company has pushed it to the 19th-20th of February 2021. We’re not sure what the company will announce at the event, but we know that the company is working on Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2, so we expect that there will be updates made on both games, but it is unclear if there will be any surprise announcements in store.
