The Samsung Galaxy S21 is expected to be announced in the next few weeks, and if you already think that you’re going to buy the phone, then you might be interested to learn that Samsung is now allowing customers to reserve a pre-order slot for when the phone is eventually launched.

Now, it should be noted that you are not actually pre-ordering the phone now. Instead, you’re reserving a spot to pre-order the phone once pre-orders open. This is more for those who are worried that when the time comes to pre-order the phone, all the initial spots will be taken up and they’ll have to wait a longer time for their phones to arrive.

However, there is an additional benefit to reserving your spot because Samsung says that those who reserve a pre-order slot will get an additional $50 in credit towards their next Galaxy, and an extra $10 in the Android Shop Samsung App. Given that Samsung will not be shipping a charger with the Galaxy S21, we suppose the $50 credit can be used towards purchasing some accessories.

Samsung is also accepting trade-ins of other phones where you’ll be able to get up to $700 in credit towards your purchase, so if you are considering the Galaxy S21, you might want to consider taking Samsung up on their offer by heading to the company’s website.
