If you’ve been waiting for an upgrade to Microsoft’s Surface Pro lineup, then you might be interested to learn that the company has since announced the Surface Pro 7+, although unfortunately there is a good chance that you won’t be able to get your hands on it unless you work in the education or business sector.

According to Microsoft, the new Surface Pro 7+ has been designed for enterprise users in mind and have included features that enterprise users might appreciate. This includes support for LTE, which means that they get to work on the go and stay connected even if there is no WiFi, and also a removable SSD which can help protect sensitive documents and data in the event that the device is stolen. It will also make it easier for IT admins to service in case the drive fails.

The Surface Pro 7+ is available in different configurations, but for those who want the LTE version, they’ll have to opt for the fanless Intel Core i5 model. There will also be options like Intel’s 11th gen Core i3, i5, and i7 configurations to choose from, and Microsoft has also included a battery that they claim will last for up to 15 hours on a single charge.

Microsoft has yet to confirm the pricing and availability of the Surface Pro 7+ on its website, but like we said, for now it seems that only those in the education or business sector will be able to buy it.
