Despite initial favorable reviews of the iPhone 12 mini, real-life proved to be a very different story and sales of the iPhone 12 mini have reportedly been so bad that Apple has been rumored to be considering halting production of the handset next quarter. So where does that leave the iPhone 13 mini?

Turns out that even though the iPhone 12 mini isn’t quite pulling its weight as expected, Apple is apparently still pushing ahead with the iPhone 13 mini, and that it is still on track to be released as planned. This is according to the latest episode of Front Page Tech where Jon Prosser claims that Apple might not be launching a new iPhone SE this year.

One of the problems with the launch of the iPhone 12 mini is that it kind of competed against the iPhone SE in terms of small iPhones. There were, of course, other problems such as battery life, but having another cheaper option meant that there was one less reason customers would go for the iPhone 12 mini.

However, if the rumors are true and Apple will not be launching a new iPhone SE this year, that mean that for those who want a small iPhone that can be operated with one hand, then the iPhone 13 mini would be their best bet.
