A rumor from earlier this year suggested that Apple could be working on a “higher-end” Macbook Air. The MacBook Air has been praised by many as being an affordable and somewhat value for money entry into Apple’s ecosystem, but we suppose there are some who might be seeking a bit more power.

The good news is that according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, we could be getting such a laptop. Gurman claims that Apple is apparently developing a larger 15-inch MacBook Air. Right now, the MacBook Air tops out at 13-inches, so presumably the larger model will not only sport a bigger display, but could also pack more power under its hood.

The report also goes on to claim that Apple will be redesigning its MacBook Air, although what exactly this means remains to be seen. However, it is said that they will be thinner and lighter and could feature even smaller bezels. There is no word on when this laptop will be launched, but given that Apple launched the M1 MacBook Airs back in late 2020, this means that we might only be able to expect a new MacBook Air either later this year or possibly early 2022.

It’s interesting to see a 15-inch MacBook Air especially since Apple got rid of the 15-inch MacBook Pro in favor of a 16-inch model, and there have been reports that suggests that a 14-inch MacBook Pro could be in the works. This means that if this rumor is true, Apple could cover every size from 13-inches up to 16-inches.
