Are you looking to get your hands on an iPhone but save some money in the process? That’s usually where trade-ins come in, where trading in an older iPhone will help save you some money towards buying a newer iPhone. However, what if you’re coming from the Android platform?

The good news is that if you own a Google Pixel 4a or Google Pixel 5 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 20, it seems that Apple is now accepting those devices towards the trade-in for an iPhone. Prior to this, Apple already did accept some Pixel and Samsung handsets, but it seems that they did not include the newer models.

Oddly enough, Apple isn’t accepting the newer Samsung Galaxy S21s yet which we’re not sure why, but then again, the phone is kind of new and it seems unlikely that there are people who might be willing to part with their brand new Samsung phone so quickly. In terms of value, it will depend on the condition of your phone.

However, assuming that you get top dollar for trade-in, you should be able to expect up to $350 for the Pixel 5, $180 for the Pixel 4a, and $425 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20.
