Apple Silicon iMac Could Feature A Display Larger Than 27-inches

The largest computer offered by Apple at the moment is the 27-inch iMac, unless you count the 32-inch Pro Display XDR hooked up to another computer like the Mac mini or Mac Pro. However, that could change in the future, according to a tweet by leakster @l0vetodream (private) who claims Apple could launch an even bigger model.

As many are well-aware of, Apple is said to be developing new iMacs that use its Apple Silicon chipset. The rumors are also claiming that the company will introduce a new design, which is welcome given that they have been using the current design for quite a while now. If the recent leak is to be believed, Apple could replace the 27-inch model with one with an even bigger display, although how much bigger is unclear.

We wouldn’t be surprised if this model could have a display similar to the size of the Pro Display XDR. In the past, Apple did create displays that matched the size of the iMac (and design), so it’s not a stretch to think that they are looking to repeat this again. Other iMac rumors include how Apple could also introduce multiple color options, and that Apple might discontinue the 21.5-inch model in favor of a 24-inch model.

Either way, Apple is rumored to host an event later this month where new products are expected to be announced. The company hasn’t officially sent out any invites yet, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information.
