TCL Launches 85-inch Roku TV For $1,599

When you think of 85-inch TVs, you might already be dreading the cost of such a device. However, you might be interested to learn that TCL has actually just announced its new 85-inch Roku TV enabled TV for a somewhat affordable $1,599. This still isn’t cheap by any means, but considering how much other manufacturers are charging, it’s not too bad.

It also comes with support for 4K resolution which makes the price even more impressive. Also, since this is a Roku TV, it will come with all the features that one might expect from a Roku device. There is also support for Apple’s AirPlay and HomeKit, which means that you can stream to it from an Apple device wirelessly, and also control it via the Home app.

According to Chris Larson, Senior Vice President at TCL, “TCL’s XL Collection represents this next stage in the TV industry – large-size, powerful televisions that deliver premier movie-going experiences in the comfort and safety of your own living room – and we’re excited for users to get back that cinematic magic. Being one of only three global TV brands with full vertical integration, TCL continues to expand its big-screen production capacity to make the largest television screens with best-in-class imaging technology more accessible than ever.”

For those who are interested, the TCL 85-inch Roku TV can be purchased now from Amazon.
