Bang & Olufsen are no strangers when it comes to true wireless earbuds. The company has launched its own take on the wearable in the past, but as we’re starting to see more of these earbuds come with noise-cancelling features, it’s not surprising that the company has decided to play catchup.

This will come in the form of the Beoplay EQ, which are the company’s first true wireless earbuds to feature noise-cancelling technology. According to Bang & Olufsen SVP of Product Management Christoffer Poulsen, “When creating Beoplay EQ, we made a commitment to deliver on the expectations of our customers whether they are using their earphones for travel, business or pleasure. The ergonomic earphones have been designed for comfort and provide powerful and authentic sound, making them a must have for design and music lovers.”

The earbuds will feature the use of an ANC DSP chip and six microphones that will take in sound from the surroundings so that it can better adapt its noise-cancelling. The company is also claiming that the earbuds will offer a total of 20 hours of battery life and about 6.5 hours of use per charge with ANC enabled.

The earbuds are also sweat and water resistant so you can use it during your workout if you desire. As for pricing, given that these are a Bang & Olufsen product, they will not come cheap. The Beoplay EQ is priced at 399 EUR and is expected to go on sale globally on the 19th of August.
