Based on everything we know about the upcoming Apple Watch Series 7, the biggest changes will be to its design. Apparently there will not be any new health sensors introduced in the model. Maybe we’ll see improvements to the existing sensors, but other than that, we shouldn’t expect anything new.

If you were hoping for new sensors, then maybe you might want to hold out for the Apple Watch Series 8. This is according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who claims that the Series 8 model is expected to come with new health features, like a body temperature sensor.

If this sounds familiar, it is because just last week we had heard a similar report where the Series 8 could come with a body temperature sensor that could help with fertility planning. It was also rumored that the Series 8 could come with a blood pressure monitor. There was no mention of a blood glucose sensor, but there is a good chance we could still be waiting for that for a while.

This doesn’t mean that the Series 7 will be a bad watch. It will do everything previous models can but in a new design. If you haven’t upgraded for a while, it could still be a worthy purchase. In any case, we should have more details next week so check back with us on the 14th of September during Apple’s event for more updates.
