Lenovo’s New Smart Wireless Earbuds Takes Apple’s AirPods On

Apple’s AirPods are some of the most popular true wireless earbuds around, thanks largely to its quick pairing feature that makes hooking it up with an iOS or macOS device a piece of cake. This is versus regular Bluetooth headphones whose connections might not be as quick or as reliable.

However, Lenovo thinks that they can challenge Apple and have since unveiled their latest pair of true wireless earbuds in the form of the Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds. These earbuds will feature Lenovo’s Smart Pair technology that allow the earbuds to connect to devices instantly simply by flipping the case open.

Speaking of cases, the charging case that the earbuds come in will provide users with up to 28 hours of battery life in total, with each charge offering about 7 hours worth of listening time. The earbuds are also pretty light at 4.2 grams per earbud, so you should be able to wear it for an extended period of time without feeling fatigued.

There is also Lenovo’s Enhanced Multipoint technology that can connect the earbuds to a PC or a phone simultaneously, and will be able to switch between audio sources based on the current scenario. The earbuds also feature the use of 11mm dynamic drivers and have an IPX4 rating, so working out with them and getting sweaty shouldn’t pose a problem.

The Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds are priced rather affordably at $99.99 and will be available in Q3 2021.
