Microsoft Office 2021 Will Be Available October 5

There are a couple of ways that you can get your hands on Microsoft Office. One of those ways would be a subscription to Microsoft 365 that would essentially ensure you will always get the latest version, but in the long-run it could end up costing you a lot more. If you prefer one-off purchases, then Microsoft’s latest announcement could be of interest to you.

The company has revealed that Office 2021 will be released on the 5th of October, which if you recall is also the same day that Microsoft will be launching Windows 11, so it should all tie in pretty nicely with each other. Unfortunately, details about Office 2021 is scarce at the moment, but Microsoft notes on its website that they will be sharing those details soon.

The release date for Office 2021 was made together with another announcement on Microsoft’s website, which is for Office LTSC which is designed for commercial customers in mind, whereas Office 2021 is more for regular consumers.

According to the company, “Office LTSC is designed for specific scenarios: regulated devices that cannot accept feature updates, process control devices on the manufacturing floor, and specialty systems that cannot connect to the internet.” So if you are looking forward to Office 2021, then be sure to check back with us in the coming weeks for more details.
