Usually whenever a company markets a product as being for gamers, there is usually a premium attached to it. However, if you want to game but don’t want to pay the gamer tax but still want some of the functionality of gaming headsets, then you might be interested in checking out Razer’s new Kaira X series of headsets.

These headsets are designed for the Xbox and PlayStation consoles in mind and are priced at $60 each, making them cheaper than the regular Kaira priced at $100, or the Kaira Pro that will set you back $150, so if you’re after something affordable but functional, then maybe these are the headphones for you.

In terms of specs are features, the Kaira X will come equipped with TriForce Drivers that will help provide a nice balance of highs, mids, and lows, and there will also be an attached Razer HyperClear Cardioid Microphone that focuses on your voice to help eliminate any background sound.

One of the reasons why it’s so cheap is also because Razer has opted to make them wireless. Instead, they will rely on a 3.5mm analog connection which means that using them on consoles or PCs or even older phones shouldn’t be an issue. They are currently available for order via Razer’s website for those who might be interested in them.
