Apple has deposed a patent (USPTO link) that describes how the company’s devices could use the fingerprint information of thieves, to catch them. Apple’s iOS 8.3 did deliver Wi-Fi calling to Sprint’s iPhones, but that is not all there is to it. Apparently, Apple’s recently released iOS 8.3 update also prevents Touch ID from being used to perform App Store purchases for select iPhone and iPad owners, at least according to complaints that were made over on Twitter, not to mention Apple’s support forums.
