LG Flatron M4200D offers 3D view

CES 2007 - 3D movies without the glasses? That is now possible with the LG M4200D 3D LCD monitor. The M4200D boasts a 3D type autostereoscopic view that makes it feel as if you were viewing at one large, 3D hologram movie in color. The recommended viewing range is anywhere between 3m to 7m, but I found it looked much better from further away. To obtain the best effect, you would have to stand directly opposite it at the specified length. This 3D LCD monitor is definitely not meant for viewing movies but short advertisements only, as you will most probably end up with a headache within 10 minutes. According to LG, the M4200D will be released sometime in Q2 this year at a yet undisclosed price.
