Touch Book: Netbook Tablet with a 3D Touchscreen Interface
Posted on Mar 2, 09 04:52 AM PDT

[DEMO 09] This new moble device launched today at DEMO is interesting: it serves as a netbook and as a standalone tablet, thanks to its detachable keyboard and its 3D touchscreen user interface. The battery life is really good on paper: 10 to 15 hours for less than 2 pounds. This open hardware netbook features a Texas Instrument ARM processor and a fan-less, heat-and-noise free system (I have to check) and internal USB plugs. I cannot wait to put my hands on it!
The Touch Book is expected to ship in late spring and will start at $299. Advance orders can be placed at http://www.alwaysinnovating.com/store/.
