LG.Philips are definitely aiming to usher in the new year with a bang, announcing a range of new large format displays that target high density public areas like shopping malls and airports. These displays will see action at CES 2008, boasting different sizes of 32″ up to 52″ and various technologies such as multitouch, handwriting recognition, transflective backlighting for outdoor use, double-sided panels and even lenticular displays capable of displaying up to three video sources simultaneously from different angles. No idea on how much each of these babies cost, but if you’ve gotta ask, chances are you won’t be able to afford it.
