Kodak knows just how hard times are at the moment, so those who want a new entry-level digital camera might even think twice before parting with their hard earned money, and Kodak hopes to steer them towards a purchase decision with the EasyShare C180 budget camera. This model will be available only in August (why the delay?), retailing for $199.95 a pop. It will feature the following :-
- 10 megapixel image sensor
- Kodak AF 3x optical aspheric zoom lens
- 5x digital zoom
- Face detection, Kodak Perfect Touch Technology, scene modes
- Blur reduction
- 2.4″ color display
- 16MB internal memory
- SD/SDHC memory card slot
What do you think of the specifications? We would like to see internal memory of compact digital cameras be increased considering how dirt cheap they are these days, as there are always moments when people get carried away with their shooting only to realize that they’ve run out of memory.
