Holophone PortaMic 5.1 Captures Surround Sound

Interested in being able to capture 5.1 surround sound without too much fancy gear? That’s where the Holophone PortaMic 5.1 comes in. Allowing you to capture surround sound, right on set! You’ll certainly be able to get better gear if you’re in a studio environment, but if you’re outside (attending a concert for example), this would certainly be much easier for you to lug around. It’s powered by a single 9V battery, which is good enough to keep it running for about 3 hours. The only downside is that it costs $600, which means that it’s going to seem like a very expensive accessory for folks who aren’t serious, meaning those with a casual interest would probably pass on this (unless they have very deep pockets).
