If you’re into sports such as skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding and basically “extreme” types of sports and would like to capture it on video, Contour has announced the Contour+2 hands-free Full HD action camera, allowing the videographer to capture those extreme sports moments. It even features GPS and smartphone connectivity, allowing your smartphone or tablet to pair with the camera via Bluetooth for remote viewing and control – essentially turning your tablet or smartphone into an external display, giving you a preview of what the Contour+2 is capturing at the moment.

It will feature a 5MP sensor and has the ability to capture Full HD video at 30fps. It will come with a 170-degree wide-angle lens that can be rotated 270 degrees, and can also record at 480p resolution at 120fps. It sports an Instant On-Record switch that allows for recording at a moments’ notice and will come with 4GB of internal storage. The memory can be expanded on via microSD or SDHC. The Contour+2 will be priced at $399.99. More information and resellers of the Contour+ can be found on Contour’s website.
