If you’re not a fan of relying on a micro USB to charge your Nexus 10 tablet, you might be interested to learn that assuming the reports are accurate, the official Nexus 10 pogo charger could soon be released. This is thanks to a poster on the Android Central forums who has uploaded a photo of what he claims to be the pogo charger for the tablet. Unlike microUSB, the pogo charger will rely on magnets to connect to your Nexus 10 tablet, akin to that of the MagSafe charger found on Apple’s MacBook computers. According to the poster, he has managed to get his hands on it because he works for the original and direct supplier of the pogo cable. He has also stated that he expects that pogo charger to go on sale via Amazon and eBay “soon” and should retail for around $19.99-$24.99. We’ll naturally be taking this with a grain of salt for now, but for those who are interested in an alternative charger for their device, perhaps this might be worth keeping an eye out for.
