TF502T_26-sBack in 2012, a certain ASUS tablet with the model TF600T was spotted at the FCC. The tablet was part of ASUS’ Transformer lineup of tablets and would run on Windows RT. Well it looks like the Taiwanese company is back with an update to the tablet in the form of the TF502T, although oddly enough its model number seems to be lower than that of the TF600T, although it does share some of its specs, albeit upgraded for 2014’s customers. The tablet was spotted on ASUS’ website itself, although the company has yet to make a formal announcement which we expect will most likely be soon, either that or it will be made at MWC 2014 which is taking place later in February.

In any case official announcement or not, the specifications of the tablet have appeared of  ASUS’ website leaving little to the imagination, although we guess a release date and price would be nice as well. So what can we expect from the TF502T? Well the tablet will keep the Super IPS display of 1366×768 and will feature NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The tablet will be accompanied by 2GB of RAM and sport an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, 32GB and 64Gb storage options, a microSD card slot, and the usual WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity options. Unlike its predecessor, the TF502T will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, although we’re hoping ASUS will update it to at least Android 4.3 upon its release.
