Creative launches Xmod Wireless System

The Xmod Wireless System from Creative has just been launched in the US, enabling users to listen to their PC-based music from any part of their home, thanks to X-Fi technology that claims to make MP3 audio sound much better than standard audio CDs. All you need to do is hook up the Xmod Wireless system to a PC via USB, while connecting the X-Fi Wireless Receiver to any speaker or audio system in the home within a 100 feet radius to enjoy seamless audio streaming. I'm no audiophile, but Creative's X-Fi Crystalizer is some kind of sound "upscaler" that restores lost frequencies in an MP3 file during compression, hence giving you crystal clear sound. The Creative Xmod Wireless system (with one receiver) retails for $199.99, while additional receivers cost $99.99 each.
