Ball Player concept makes life easy
Posted on Aug 7, 07 07:57 PM PDT

Just when you thought the iPod's Click Wheel is just about the best thing since sliced bread when it comes to navigation of an MP3 player, along comes the Ball Player concept. The Ball Player is a pretty unique looking MP3 player that comes with a trackball as the navigation mode of choice in place of buttons. All you need to do is roll the trackball towards the direction of control you desire - which is way better than those joystick-layouts that we see on some players. Alternatively, you can also place the trackball on any flat surface and use it like a mouse. Not too sure if this design concept will ever take off, but kudos to Dae-Ki Hong for coming up with it.
