LG has new dual High-Def DVD player

LG certainly isn’t taking any sides with their new B200 dual High-Def DVD player as this offering is capable of taking in both Blu-ray and HD DVD media, rendering the so-called “format war” redundant. Features include HDi support, 1080p output at 60Hz and 1080p upscaling of standard DVDs along with wider support for audio CDs and HD DVD network connectivity. The B200 will be compatible with MPEG-2, VC-1, H.264 video, MPEG1/2 audio, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS and DTS-HD audio formats, making this a pretty comprehensive home entertainment package on its own. Not only that, network interactivity is made possible via HDMI 1.3 out and a LAN Ethernet port. You won’t have to wait too long for this one. The unit will hit shelves in mid-October for $999.
