Accurian Video MP3 player

my nextar mp3 player did the same thing on me. try taking out the battary and putting it back in if it has a removable battery you can replace. if it is not removable, but chargable, the try to plug it in to your computer. if that doesn't work and it wont light up and say plugged in then you probaly have to get a new player. hope my suggestions work! :(

Ok, I haven't had any problem with my Accurian player. But the other day I put it on charge and it was fine, but when I took it off the charger it wouldn;t turn on and now when I plug it into the computer it doesnt even show up. Help please?

i had it for bout 2 months. told me to format is as FAT but its impossible. so i took it back to radio shack and now im getting the upgrade for free so if this is whats wrong with yours take it back as soon ans possible!

It says in the manual to leave a certain amount of free space. If you didn't, then what ever happens is on you. Stop getting mad at the manufacturer for your own stupidity. Learn to read.

I cannot use my player. Just like everyone else I keep getting a message reading need to free up 5mb of memory. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a piece of $#!t. Had it for 5 months no problem. Now all of a sudden it shows a message at turn on: "Flash error! please backup the data and reformat the player". Just did....and put more music on and it did it again. F#$k these @$$holes they give it a 90 day warranty. Never going to Radio Shack again.

the same thing is happening with mine but when i try to plug it in the computers i have no songs and it stays on for 10 secondsand cuts off

Having same problem as most of the others. Will not turn and will not connect to computer. If this product has been recalled as stated in on of the comments then I think we should all go back to the stores we purchased the accurian from and start demanding a full refund. You know they sold the product and got our money and now they do not want to do anythig about it.

For Christmas i got this mp3 player and I'm having the same exact problem as everyone else, so this is really the company's fault for selling these items to us. Now I'm anly thirteen years old so if there is any older people that has time on their hands to really report this and get this problem fixed please do because i have my mom here thinking that I broke it by myself when i tried so hard to keep it safe. And i dont have that kind of money to be wasting it on this mp3 player like that.

I got the Accurian video mp3 player on black firday of 2007 and just about a month ago it stopped during on. All I get is a screen with a music note and then it turns off. I know it still has battery life on it but I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to make it turn on where I can listen to my music. This is a pretty good player, my mom got me it for my birthday. i wanted an ipod but thats really expensive so she got me this and i love it and yeah my left earbud form the headphone stopped working only the right ne works wat shuld i do?

Alright, just give seconds ago my Accurian completely died on me. I've been trying to start it back up but its not working at all whatsoever. I plugged it into my laptop to see if it would start up so it could charge--but nope. Nothin. This bites.

My player ran low on batteries. I plugged it in to the computer for a long time. When I went to turn it on again it says "Low memory, 5mg need to power on" but, I have less than 100 songs on it, and a few pictures. SO, then I went to see if I could take a few things off it, even though i hadn't added anything too it since it had been working, and it won't let me open it, it just shows the space on it as red, and that it has 0 kb left on it, but it own't let me open it. It won't format it, because I can replace all of that if I need too... but i can't. I don't know what to do... *cries* If I could afford an Ipod I would get that but.... *pouts*

The first day I used my Accurian the left ear bud stopped working. The second time I used it I had to start rebooting the stupid thing everytime I turned it on. The Third time I had to recharge it, it would not recharge. I got it for Christmas. Told my mother I wanted an RCA or MAC and got this hunk oh junk. Bought a warranty...hope Radio Shack refunds it.

We bought two at Christmas time. One is fine but the other randomly shut off and had to reboot to get it to work again. After being told it was a charging problem, user problem, etc, we finally demanded a replacement. Waited weeks for the "replacement" which turned out to be a card with original purchase amount on it. We purchased it on sale so we don't have enough to equal replace it. When I tried to buy a new one, I was told they had been RECALLED. Imagine that. They had problems with them not functioning. But they aren't offering to take back the other one I have. Bummer. Like I mentioned, the one is functioning fine but after that experience and now after reading some of these posts, I'm just waiting for it to die as well.

you can buy a universal kit at wal mart it has a tape to hook into the head phone slot so you can listen to it in the car and a car charger that you plug your usb cable into... it only cost about 15 bucks i dont know the brand name but its in the accessories section... i bought one and it works great!

my mp3 player was plugged into the computer to charge and when i went to get it the screen was white and will not show anything, the songs and everything still play but i have no visual whats so ever what should i do??????

I bought it in December and it is a little slow , it needs a case cuase i take it every where i go, but today when i went to go charge it would charge it would even come on. I checked the chored and the spot where you insert your chored to the mp3 player and the computer. and i went down and used my neighbors computer to make sure it wasnt my computer. but it didnt charge over there either.so over all my mp3 player dyed with in 2 months.

My Accurian MP3 works flawlessly! The only problem I have is that Accurian doesn't supply and accessories for their player!!!
1) I need a case that fits this player. All iPods/universals cases have the circle, too small a screen, and no opening on the sides, 2) a holder when using in the car, 3) a charger for the car - yeah, only for iPods.

♦I couldn't get the suggested download program to work either.
I switched to MS Windows Media Player > "ripped" recordings > then "sync" (synchronized) by dragging one or more at a time to sync > press start to sync. That's it. I now have a manageable Media Player library + songs in the MP3

I purcased this for my daughter and she was vry happy with it. During a recent move we misplaced the user manual and the usb cable. Any idea where we can get another one? Any web info for downloading user guilde? Thanks

I pluged in my Accurian to my computer and it now shows the computer connection screen. When i un plugged the Accurian it still shows connected to my pc and it is not. It wont shut off or Reboot. Any one know a fix?

Dammit haha I had the same problems as you guys although I also get a weird noise when using other headphones and it is really wierd and this mp3 player really sux and deinatly not even worth the $60 I payed and I should have gotten the dang Zune for only $40 more....atleast I know it woulda worked...RAdioshack...y?

this is how you download songs first u have to have to save music on to my documents then u unclick the source the files are going to then u go to add files and go to my documents then u click on the saved song and it will be on the list then it says to convert click and what till its done.

I never had these problems with my ipod. I think its time to switch back. This thing does not always come on, its hard to put pics and videos on and on a scale of 1-10 is a .5! Thats half a point. When it works its and 3.5.

Go to www.mymusix.com to get the latest updates located on page 8 under Setting Mode. Under note visit the website for firmware update. To get it going again disconnect device from computer, reboot, reattach USB on a different hub. You may have to do this a couple of times
