Guitar Hero III sold for $9,100

A father has made a reaped a handsome profit on his initial $90 investment, selling off his son's copy of Guitar Hero III for $9,100 in an online auction. Just like the adage goes, "there is a silver lining in every dark cloud", this father of a 15-year old caught his son smoking pot and hence sold off Guitar Hero III as a form of punishment, with no knowledge of the windfall that is to come thanks to an Australian who had way too much dough to spare. $9,100 is way too much for a video game - especially for one that isn't even rare in any way. According to the father, his pot-smoking son will still get a present this Christmas, perhaps a Barbie title on the Nintendo.
